Import from Jobber

Switching from Jobber? Connect your Jobber account and bring over your clients, service addresses, price list, quotes, jobs and visits, and invoices.

An add-on we switch on for your business. Ask us about it

If you're moving from Jobber, you don't have to type everything in again. Connect your Jobber account and Hello to Paid copies your records over. Your Jobber account isn't changed.

We switch this on, free, for businesses that are moving over. Contact us and we'll turn it on for you. It then appears under Settings → Import from Jobber.

What comes over

  • Price list items (into your product catalog)
  • Clients and their service addresses (as customers and properties)
  • Quotes
  • Jobs, with every scheduled visit
  • Invoices, with what's been paid

Archived quotes stay in Jobber, and visits with no start time are left behind.

Import your data

You need a role with Business settings (Owners have it).

  1. Open Settings → Import from Jobber.
  2. Click Connect Jobber.
  3. Sign in to Jobber and allow access. You come back to Hello to Paid, which says Jobber is connected.
  4. Click Import now.
  5. Wait while it runs. A progress bar shows each step; you can leave the page and come back.

When it's finished, the Last import card lists, for each kind of record, how many are New, Updated, Left behind and Couldn't import. Open Notes from the import to see anything that needs a look.

Nothing is sent to your customers

Imported quotes, visits and invoices don't trigger follow-ups, visit reminders or invoice reminders. Your customers won't hear from Hello to Paid until you send them something yourself.

Run it again

Still finishing up work in Jobber? Click Import again any time. It updates what came over before instead of making copies.

Disconnect

Click Disconnect when you're done. Everything you imported stays, and you can connect again any time.

Heads up: If the page says Jobber isn't set up on Hello to Paid yet, the connection to Jobber isn't ready. Contact us and we'll let you know when it is.
